The Auckland Rugby Union Supporters Club Junior Rugby Foundation was established in 1988 after discussions on to how give greater support to junior rugby in Auckland were held.

The purposes of the Foundation are to provide education, assistant and support for the promotion and development of participation by young people in rugby football within the areas under the jurisdiction of the Auckland Rugby Football Union.
